저는 다른 개발자들을 위한 프로그래밍 언어와 라이브러리를 만들며 살아왔습니다. 제가 작성한 소프트웨어를 직접 사용하는 사람은 그 수가 적고, 개발자가 아닌 사람에게 제가 하는 일이 무엇인지 설명하기는 힘이 듭니다. 이러한 일이 가치있는 것은 오직 다른 개발자들이 그것으로 만드는 쓸모있고 즐거운 프로그램들 때문입니다.

I've spent my career building programming languages and libraries targeted at other developers. This means that the software that I write is used directly by a small number of people and it's incredibly hard for me to explain to non-developers what I do. The only reason this kind of stuff has value is because of the useful or fun programs that other developers build using it.
